Hello my brothers and sisters,
We made it back safe and sound! I am convinced that God used your prayers to cover us and to bring us through. Thanks so much. There were many "God" events that happened in Haiti. The team had great unity and everyone was very flexible and learned a lot about patience in dealing with "Haitian" time. Bob Baxter and Cheryl are still there and arrive back a week from tomorrow.
We still need your prayers as most of us are having some struggles with our intestines. Thanks so much.
There are many things to reflect on and many workings of God in our lives as we try to digest this past week amongst the Haitian people. It was great to touch many lives with the love of Jesus Christ, the same love that has set us free. I can't tell you enough how grateful I am and I am sure the whole team is for your support shown towards us.
Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf. For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
We plan to share with you some of the main parts of our trip at a special service designed for this purpose. We will hold that on Sunday during the evening service on August 17th. I hope you will be able to attend. I will share some of what happened in my Monday letter to you all.
I heard the services went well and I am encouraged to again realize that the Holy Spirit is the One that leads our services. I appreciate all who participated to make the services a blessing. We attended an American church service in Haiti that was lacking much of what we all enjoy on a weekly basis.
Well, I just wanted to send a note to let you know I am thinking of you and that I love you all very much. I encourage you to keep walking with Jesus because He is definitely worth serving! Have a great week and if I do not see you tonight, I hope to see you all soon.
God bless you.
Love,
Pastor Ron
